Julie Burke the owner and founder of Tall Order knows the unique
formula for ‘raising the bar’ in servicing her client’s expectations
in the catering and team building business. For over 30 years Julie
has lead large scale events in the corporate sector as well as private
and celebrity functions across Canada and the US.
Julie is a 1979 graduate in Hospitality Management and has pursued a
career as an entrepreneur since then. In 2006 Julie was inducted into
the BC Chapter of the International Les Dames d’Escoffier. That same
year Julie was named International Event Professional for Event
Solutions and awarded Best Corporate Team Builder in Canada. In 2000
Intrawest awarded Julie and her team ‘Best Special Event’ at Whistler
Mountain. In 1994 Julie was chosen as one of Vancouver’s top business
achievers. In 1993 Julie was awarded for best catered event by the
Canadian Special Event Society.
